The Ladies Titan Tire Challenge will be held at Hunters Ridge Golf Course in Marion, Iowa.

Junior League of Cedar Rapids in partnership with the Cedar Rapids Area Convention and Visitors Bureau are proud to bring this exciting event to our community.

Proceeds from the Ladies Titan Tire Challenge will support Junior League of Cedar Rapids’ (JLCR) projects and programs.

  • The LPGA Futures Tour is known as "the Road to the LPGA" and since 1999, it has been designated as the LPGA’s developmental tour
  • LPGA Futures Tour events have contributed nearly $5 million to charitable organizations throughout the nation since 1989.
  • The top 10 money winners at the end of each season earn LPGA Tour membership for the following year.
  • The Tour enters its 32nd season in 2012.
  • Marion is the only stop on the Tour in Iowa.

  • Former LPGA Tour star Lorena Ochoa won her first professional tournament on the Futures Tour in 2002, while current LPGA Tour veteran Karrie Webb won her first pro event on the Futures Tour in 1995. 
  • Tour alum Karrie Webb is a member of the LPGA and World Golf Halls of Fame. 
  • Six of the 12 members of the 2011 U.S. Solheim Cup Team were alumnae of the Futures Tour. They were led by U.S. Captain Rosie Jones, also a Futures Tour alumna.
  • 2012 marks the 4th annual Ladies Titan Tire event. Each of the 3 winners all went on to the LPGA the year they won the LTTC event. 2011 winner Kathleen Ekey also won Player of the Year.

  • Ladies Titan Tire Challenge is named for its title sponsor Titan Tire and is the Tour's only stop in Iowa.
  • The three-day, 54-hole tournament begins with 144 professionals and, on Sunday, competition is narrowed to the top 70 plus ties.
  • Ladies Titan Tire Challenge purse is $110,000.
  • 2012 marks the fourth year the LPGA Futures Tour tournament has been held in Marion.
  • The Ladies Titan Tire Challenge has been voted one of the tours top events in 2009, 2010 and 2011 by the professional players and Tour staff.
  • Three day attendance for 2011 was approximately 2700.
  • More than 220 volunteers logged over 3500 volunteer hours for the 2010 tournament.
  • Proceeds from Ladies Titan Tire Challenge fund the projects and programs of Junior League of Cedar Rapids.
